Crawling like a Snail

We have gotten to the point where we now wait on others to get the show on the road so to speak.  Our first home study appointment isn't until the 9th of December.  Hopefully most of what we need can be done in that visit, interviews for us and the children as well as the home inspection.  The rest will just be a formality.  There has been no word as to whether or not the clearances have come through from the other states and nothing can be finished until they do.  I am still thinking positive and hoping to have that wonderful set of papers in my hand by Christmas.
I met a wonderful women Lisa on line who adopted Lilli from the same place Matthew is living. They were crib mates and she shared with me some of the photos of them together when they were babies.  No one who hasn't adopted can understand how precious having these photos are.

Matthew was very upset when Lilli left him and carried her photo around for days.  He has now found a new love in Rosa, they are inseparable. Her parents are working hard to get her home quickly and hopefully will travel in early February.  I hope his heart doesn't get broken to bad this time around.

November 11

Boy it seems like I am very lousy at this blog thing.  I have been trying to get everything done in my power to make this whole process go a little faster or smoother.  Between me and Daddy, we had to send papers out to about 8 different states.  Everywhere we have lived since we were 18 years old, and that is a very long time.  I have gotten some new pictures of you! That made my day, you are so adorable, or should I say handsome?

I hear you love you friend Rosie, she is going to have a new family too and when she leaves I am sure you are going to miss her terribly.  We have also decided on an American name for you, Matthew! It is a beautiful name for a beautiful little boy, I sure hope changing your name doesn't cause you much confusion.
